Every gift triggers a branded, tax-ready email receipt with your logo and EIN. In the Donor Portal, supporters review their giving history, download receipts and year-end summaries, and manage their own recurring plans, which means fewer support requests for your staff.

Where does the money go when someone donates?
Directly into your organization's own Stripe account, on your payout schedule. Donatefy never pools or holds your funds, and platform fees appear as visible line items in your own dashboard.
Can donors cover the fees?
Yes. With fee coverage on, donors can add the processing and platform fees to their gift at checkout, with the exact amount shown before they pay, so your organization keeps 100% of the gift. You control whether the option appears. See donor fee coverage.
What hardware do we need to start?
None. You can launch with online giving alone, add the Mobile App to phones your team already carries, and bring in kiosks or handheld readers when you are ready. See the hardware overview.
How do receipts and year-end statements work?
Each donation triggers an automatic branded receipt with your logo, EIN, and tax language. Donors can also access their giving history in the Donor Portal, with annual summaries on paid plans.
